Edimax EW-7811Un V2

I've been trying to set this forever and I can't seem to get it.
I've been following this guide https://github.com/icelaglace/MiSTer_WiFi_EW-7811UNv2
I downloaded the file 8188eu.ko and put it in the following folder /usr/lib/modules/5.14.0-MiSTer
When I try
depmod -a
modprobe 8188eu
I get the following error:
ERROR: could not insert '8188eu' Exec format error.
What am I doing wrong?
