Multi-player games [Solved]
Multi-player games [Solved]
Hi,
Maybe I did something wrong but I was unable to play 2P or 3P games on the PCE core with Bomberman 95 for instance (even SF2' in VS mode).
On the other cores like MD or SNES, there is an option for multitap but not on this one (or I missed it).
Moreover, I managed to launch a battle game, but the 1P controlled the other players.
I precise I use USB and/or BT controller (not SNAC).
It works on the other cores though.

OK, I am a dumbass... I didn't enable the turbo pad function. It works perfectly.
Re: Multi-player games [Solved]
I'll post a Multitap/Turbotap related question here to avoid cluttering the board.
Is it possible to assign a second gamepad to a given port in the multitap? Some games give access to debug modes and other easter eggs by entering button combinations on a controller on a controller port as high as port 5. It would be kind of a PITA to have to use a 5+ hub and connect 5 gamepads just to get access to the 5th controller port for such situations.

Re: Multi-player games [Solved]
Just posting that I had this exact problem today. Can someone explain what the "turbo pad" means?

Re: Multi-player games [Solved]
The TubroGrafx 16/PCE only had one controller port so you used a device called a Turbo Tap where you attached multiple joysticks/controllers and then attached that to the console to play multiplayer games.
In the main menu of the core, there is an option to Enable/Disable Turbo Tap. To play multiplayer games, enable that option.
Re: Multi-player games [Solved]
Thank you for that very coherent reply. When I read Turbo I just assumed it was a controller with Turbo function.
