How do you do games with multiple disks on the c64 core?

I thought I would be prompted to load side 2 or something but it doesn't do that at all.

I haven't played any multi disk games but I do run lots of demos and they usually ask you to flip / swap the disk, I just use F12 to load the next disk.

Some cracked games do not have the prompt as the original did. There's a PSI-5 Trading Company I ran into that had instructions to swap to the second disk at a particular part of the game before proceeding.
