Noctua Fan Installation

Hello I just got a Noctua NF-A4x10 5V, Premium Quiet Fan, 3-Pin, 5V Version (40x10mm, Brown) today here in OZ
just wondering what is the correct way to install it any help would be great

Are you planning to install it to an IO board? If so I think there's a included adapter with the fan to go straight to the 2-pin connector. There's a video here of someone shortening the cable for an IO board installation.

If you don't have an IO board there are some 3D printed mounts around, you could add some female dupont cables and tap the 5v on the GPIO pins.

There's no need to shorten the cable if you aren't handy with that sort of thing. You can fold it up within the case just fine.

Yeah just plug it in with the adapter, you can just use a zip tie to shorten the cable, modding it can be a pain because of the sleeves they come with.

I have just plugged it in with the 2 pin adapter makes such a difference now
