So What PSX Game Should I Play On My First Try of the Core?

I have waited for the official PSX release before playing so almost no bugs/etc will be left.
And i just started thinking about what game should i try first?
I have decided that it must not be any of the well known games or big releases.
Also not any fighting game sure jiggle physics and finishers is fun for 5-10min but after that the games are just boring.
And no sport/dance/sing/play guitar games so "mad dance fifa revolution 69" is out
So what kind off unknown but good game should i play first?
The winner that suggest the game i try will win a full MiSTer and CRT setup that they have to order and pay for themself

Covert Ops: Nuclear Dawn - RE-style action adventure
Omega Boost - shoot'em up
Disruptor - FPS

Have already played Covert ops but a good choice for a first game otherwise.
Omega boost seems ok but i generally do not like "after burner" style of games.

Good suggestions! did a quick google serach and a very fast youtube look at them.
I think i´m going with Klonoa since i was near to rent that many,many times at the time but i always got something else instead and i do not think i have tried it on emulators either.

Yes, you're right, Rayman is a bit too know to fit here mickeys wild adv too i think.
I've just thought about a game that I liked and finished, is is "D" and adventure game in 3 CD's. Maybe less known this one.

I suggest One Piece Mansion.
It's an interesting puzzle game where you move rooms around a building to make sure all the tenants are happy. Some tenants generate stress, some soothe stress, in specific directions. Place them all in optimal configurations and win!

Where did my last post go?
All i said was that i did play Klonoa for about 2 hours and that it was a good but not fantastic game.
And then said Urban Chaos is one of my all time favorites games, played the hell out of it on PC at the time.

Same. Great atmosphere, voice acting, exploration, side missions, freedom to solve a level in different ways, variation. Such a great game.

One of my 1st PSX games was Gunners Heaven. Has aged well. And of course Dragon Warrior VII.

Megaman Legends is decent, better than the N64 version IIRC. Never played the Tron Bonne spinoff;
I should give it a try...
No One Can Stop Mr Domino! is pretty fun and unique.
Internal Section is very trippy with great music

Silent Bomber, fun to pick up and play awesome with fast paced action. Graphics are pretty good as well almost can seem like a PS2 launch title when zoomed out.
