Issue loading a few ROMs

While 95% of my Neo Geo ROMS load and play perfectly I’ve noticed that a small number aren’t working at all.
I choose Load Rom as normal, choose the game and then I get nothing not even the loading bar. Real Bout Fatal Fury Special as an example.
Thinking it might be a corrupt ROM I’ve downloaded another copy and got the same result. I’ve then changed from AES to MVS and to Normal BIOS etc randomly and still getting no further.
Has anyone come across anything like this before? Many thanks in advance.
