The core works well, but the way it works with VHD transforms the experience into something close to an emulator than a recreation. IMHO
Does anyone know the core's plans for the future?
Thanks.
There's plans to improve the MSX core?
Re: There's plans to improve the MSX core?
I'm not talking about modernity, I'm talking about using my own dumps from cassette or Disk as same on Spectrum, Amstrad or C64 cores.
What sense has using a system in a way that has not been conceived?
Re: There's plans to improve the MSX core?
Remember the core comes from OneChipMSX which was kind of it's own new take on MSX. So yes, it never got floppy emulation or anything like that.

The MSX core is based from 1Chip MSX FPGA device.

Regarding the wiki page we don't have cassette or disk.
The cassette and disk are emulated with some tools like sofarun, etc ...

I have a real MSX2 with MEGASCC+ card, and his use is same than Mister MSX FPGA, simply VHD file contains what is present (on real MSX) inside microsd
