Hi, I'm trying to load Space Invaders for the PET core and am running into an issue. The PET was one of the first computers I used but I don't remember much about how it worked.

READY.
I type "LOAD"
SEARCHING
I select the Space Invaders .TAP file in MiSTer
FOUND SPACE INVADERS
LOADING
READY.
I type "RUN"
I get a screen titled * HOW TO PRODUCE SOUND EFFECTS * with a PETSCII diagram of a parallel port circuit.
I press any key and get a screen with scattered characters such as:
B*
PC IRQ SR AC XR

P
Sometimes the characters switch around and goes back to the * HOW TO PRODUCE SOUND EFFECTS * screen.

Does anyone know what is going on?

I found a version called space invad-4-s1.prg that worked. Maybe the other version was for a different model?

This was also my first computer that I can recall. I remember playing a game called 'Pet man', and it was a pacman clone. I've tried looking all over the place for it, but can't seem to find it.

I always enjoy some sleuthing.

I found a listing of the Toronto Pet Users Group that says PET-MAN 4000 is on disk (P)GE
https://www.tpug.ca/tpug-media/catalogs ... 300dpi.pdf

and their entire archive for all Commodore computers can be downloaded at:
https://archive.org/details/tpugusersgroupcd

Within that ISO is a file called (p)ge.d64 (attached) which may contain PET-MAN 4000.
