Sanwa Sticks and Button Mapping Issue

Unread post by shot2bits »

Hi All, I have an arcade cab which is installed with Sanwa sticks and buttons. I've managed to map the buttons and stick directions but sadly the start button simply doesn't work - I've attempted using different buttons for start but the same result occurs.

I wondered if anyone has experienced issues with the button mapping - specifically the start button?

Thanks, Robert.

Which USB encoder are you using or are you using a JAMMA/JVS IO board/breakout? Have you tested the continuity on the start button?

Hi, thanks for the reply. Continuity is fine since the button does work.

The board is: https://www.ultimarc.com/control-interf ... y-version/

Thanks, Robert.

It might be worth deleting the existing input map files and starting fresh. First, map the controller in Main from the OSD and then go into the individual cores and map their controls there. There is way more info about mapping controls here and you can find pre-configured input maps here.
