PSX and 15kHz CRT TVs

Unread post by anderse77 »

Anyoner running this core on a 15khz tv. The output gets cropped vertically on my 1084s using compsite_sync=1. Anyone who knows how to solve this?

Think that the vertical crop options, designed for integer scaling at 1080p, also affect the CRT output.

It seems to do nothing. Think it only works with the scaler. I do no know any good modelines for cm8833-mk2, however.

Erm, my 15kHz TVs and monitors work fine with the core. I am using the analog board and a SCART (Sony TV) and DIN (Commodore 1084) connection.

Could you post your ini settings in that case? Don´t get a picture on my Sony PVM or 1084 (both via Scart)

I have to report, that works for me, too.

Which is weird, since my old ini had the same basic settings.

Anyway, thanks for sharing :)

This is not true at all, it works fine, your settings are wrong.

Turn off FIXED VBLANK, or it might be something else. I've been playing the PSX core on my 1702 for months.
