Update All and External USB hard drive

Hi,

I'm super new to this so forgive me for asking what may be an obvious question.

I am looking at using an external USB hard drive with my Mister and discovered the Update All script. However, I'm not sure how to get the script to use the hard drive instead of the SD card.
I found this thread via Google - viewtopic.php?t=3612 - but I don't see the references posted here in the Github site.

I assume things have changed since that thread was made. Are there new instructions for using an external hard drive with the script now?

The first thing to know is what you want to put on your USB HD.
If you want to just put the games directory on it you do not have to do anything special.

Hi,

Yeah, I'd like to keep the cores on the SD card.

So if I just copy/make the game directories on my hard drive, the next time I run the script it won't try to redownload the arcade ROMs again?

Copy /media/fat/games to /media/usb0/games and leave /media/fat/games empty.
