Update all log missing contents

Unread post by Zarkov »

Hi, I’ve noticed that the update all log file that is used by update all script. Used to contain a complete capture of all the text during the last update. It is no longer recording the majority of the text on my mister.

This seemed to start many updates ago.

I wanted to report the issue since I don’t think it’s been brought up.

So this log is Scripts/.config/update_all/update_all.log

Mine shows the headers with the ascii chars then the text title
Running ….
Finished… etc

But there is no text captured from each phase.

It was useful to me to have the log work because the text goes by too fast and sometimes there’s useful info on bios files it wants to replace, but can’t, because I need to remove them ahead of time.

With out the log, I’m probably missing this info.

I’m using nano to display the file.

Perhaps I can manually log it?

Thanks for your time
Z.

Check the downloader.log. Everything is there.

I found the folder and these log files (mine has multiple logs like downloader1.log etc). Looking at them with nano shows that they are blank. There’s one log that was called Linux update which had some txt inside.

Maybe I need to manually update my update all script?

I believe mine is showing versions 2.0 and 1.7
