IBM Model M Keyboard

Unread post by mongooseman »

I have an IBM Model M keyboard that i used to use with my Mister a couple of years ago. I got it out yesterday and it doesnt work anymore. Originally I used it when I first bought the DE10 nano without any addons. Since then I have put the DE10 nano inside a Mister Multisystem. I cannot figure out why it doesnt work. It works on my PC so it is not the cable or ps2 to usb adapter. It lights up briefly then does nothing.

Anyone else use the keyboard or have any idea what could be wrong?

Cheers.

You should open the Mister Linux terminal and then write: dmesg just after connecting keyboard

It will print kernel's output (it might have a clue)

What powersupply do you use for the mister?
And how much else is plugged in to it? As in many controllers/wifi/bluetooth/RF and so on.

I had a rare occurring no keyboard working a looong time ago when i first bought the mister with my model m (a 2011 unicomp usb model m).
After i got my 4A meanwell powersupply the model m has never failed once since.
