New Atari CX30+ Paddle Controllers

Unread post by limi »

Atari released the 2600+ (which I am not that interested in), but in parallel also released new CX-30+ paddle controllers — anyone tried these with MiSTer cores?

(Obviously, you’d need a DE9 DaemonBite converter or SNAC)

Probably not:

This item is currently available for pre-order and will ship in November / December 2023

I don't think Daemonbyte adapters work with paddle controllers. I have Daptor PDL adapters, which work great.

Released in November. The 2600 Plus console looks interesting.

I have tried.
Didnt work with USB Daemonbite adapter (3 in 1).
Didnt work with SNAC alone.
Worked with SNAC, 3.5mm Cable going to ADC... AND only with the specific core here : Atari2600_SNAC_20200726.rbf
The range of the paddle is weird and a little sensitive, but both work.
