MiSTercade With Arcade Monitor Menu Looks Fuzzy Out of Sync

Have a Mistercade connected via Jamma to an arcade monitor. It's a dedicated Neo Geo set up. The Mister Menu looks fuzzy, not sharp with some bleeding however once I run the Neo Geo core it looks great. Any ideas on what might cause this?
