I made 3d printable cases for video adapters from UltimateMister and Retrocastle

Hi guys! First of all, happy new year for everybody, let's hope 2024 will be a great year for FPGA gaming

So I made 3d printable cases for the active Y/C adapter from Retrocastle (https://pt.aliexpress.com/item/1005005267629034.html), the passive Y/C adapter from UltimateMister (https://ultimatemister.com/product/mike ... ive-board/) and the Ultimate VGA to YPbPr adapter (https://ultimatemister.com/product/ulti ... component/). Soyou don't need to worry about them collecting dust or accidentally damaging them anymore

They are totally free and I've also included the .f3d files, so anyone can easily modify them if they want.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing! I didn't know Retrocastle made an active adapter. I ordered one. Now to see if I can have your design printed somewhere.

I used a Creality K1 and printed with normal PLA

I just received the RetroCastle adapter today and to my surprise it has a housing. Not the same as your design though.

Looking at their Aliexpress product page, I see that is now an option that costs more. So I was lucky, really nice gesture.

Heads-up for people getting one, the VGA port on it is male, so you need a female to male VGA cable to connect it to the MiSTer.

The case from Retrocastle is the one I made actually, zhangch from Retrocastle asked me on Twitter if he could use my design and I let him. The design he used is the one from the photo in my first post, but I think because he used black material (PLA or ABS) and a texurized printer bed it looks a bit different from the photo I posted, but if you look carefully you'll notice it's exactly the same (same proportions, same text, same type of buttons, etc)

That is awesome! I'm quite happy I don't have to look for a 3D printing service. The case looks great!
