How to cheat the genesis games

Hello,
Do some knows how to take effect the cheats for games of Genesis, and which type of codes is avaleable?

Cheats should be stored in: cheats/system/rom_filename.zip where system is name of the core like NES, SNES, Genesis, etc..
But the mister couldn't recongnise the MDCD cheats files. The cheat files were put into: cheats/MegaCD/.
What's the problem?

MCD cheats zip go to the game directory next to cue/bins
