Rebuilt MiSTer and the ao486 core just now, and Daemon Tools (on the exact same image) works perfectly. Clearly things are still in flux. :)
Yes, it also works for me in OSR2 again. I have been trying with a Windows 98SE that I installed using PCem on my PC, but I have audio issues when using that. Not sure why. But Daemon Tools is working in it. Maybe I can try to mix some files from one installation and some files from another... not sure. I think it might be best to just stick with OSR2 though, 98SE and OSR2 are pretty close anyway.
