Atari Jaguar and Neo Geo low latency USB adapters

Unread post by retrorepair »

Hey guys,

Not sure if I've done it correctly but I added a PR to the repo for the above, both are tested and work well, though I could probably tidy up Neo Geo a little.

Let me know if there's anything I need to do, I plan to add a few other controllers down the line and maybe support the jag pro pad/spinner controller once the Jag core matures.

Do you have a store front where someone could buy these adapters?

Pardon my ignorance, but how do they differ from a HID adapter? Do these use SNAC?

I don't have a store, I am planning to make some pcbs at some point though so I may offer some up for sale but all will be freely available so people can make their own.

They should be very low latency just like the other adapters that are on the mister git, lower than a lot of other, commercial adapters.

I've not the means to test the input lag with these but would love it if someone could.

Doesn't look like there's any interest in merging it so the above link should be all you need to build your own adapter. The pinout is in one of the cpp files.
