Re: Are You Going to Re-Configure Your MiSTer Setup for Dual RAM?
can't speak for anyone else but from where I'm coming from: 1- not attacking any devs. grateful for any and all efforts. Even ones that don't pan out into deliverables. 2- not questioning anyone's skills. particularly not atrac17's.. and I don't mean to make this an atrac17 vs Jotego type discussion either. Don't see the point and have no idea the ...

Are You Going to Re-Configure Your MiSTer Setup for Dual RAM?
I have ultimate mister case, and standard (analog) io so I would have to do away with analog io, and order a 32mb card to go with my 128mb if I want MK core when that comes out ostensibly in October. I really want MK core but I dunno if its worth the fuss, I think id have to: find a new case hope there's an s-video direct video dongle since my CRT ...

Re: 9.7" iPad Retina Screen Perfect for MiSTer, $60 Fully Assembled 😄
In the ini set vscale_mode=0. In the core menu pick aspect ratio=full, and make sure scale option is normal if available (no v-integer etc.) worked perfect, thank you very much! saw some rumblings of vsync_mode = 0 on previous pages in this thread, but was already defaulted to that I had vscale_mode = 1 for some reason (integer scaled) but cant re...

Re: 9.7" iPad Retina Screen Perfect for MiSTer, $60 Fully Assembled 😄
dumb question but theres no way to get games to fill the full 9.7" retina iPad screen is there without the full frame black border and just a square in the center? if you select full its sorta like a 16:9 stretch issue a bit but almost anamorphic or whatever its called some cores let you make the horizontal narrower with smaller left and right...

Re: Favorite wireless SNES controller to use?
When I was using the Nintendo Switch SNES controllers, if it didn't connect, I would tap the pair button to turn the controller off and try again, usually after a few tries it would work, but occasionally I would get fed up and just fully re-pair it again. One fix for the connection issues is to use the 8bitdo usb dongle with it, which should be a...

Re: Favorite wireless SNES controller to use?
I'm pretty sure there were other options in the "Shipping destination" box before, I don't think that is where it is shipping from. There are separate kits for snes classic and original snes controllers, I used snes classic controllers. You can see all the different kits here: https://shop.8bitdo.com/ thanks looks like its for sale on eb...

Re: Favorite wireless SNES controller to use?
Hmm.. that's strange, they were shipping to USA and Canada when I ordered my ps1 classic kits in August. Unfortunately I think their website is the only place you can get the diy kits. Unless “shipping destination” means where it’s shipping from And to clarify you use this with a snes mini controller right? Not an original SNES system controller? ...

Re: Favorite wireless SNES controller to use?
It works with standard bluetooth adapters. It uses a 3.5mm barrel to usb a cable to charge, I don't think it is proprietary, I have seen other electronics with similar cables, but haven't tried using a cable other than what it came with. The nub where the charging cable attaches also glows to show you when the controller is on/charging/pairing. Th...

I use a snes classic controller with the 8bitdo diy bluetooth board . It still has the official feel and doesn't have the connection issues the switch ones do. I do miss having the extra 2 buttons the switch controller has so one can be used as a dedicated menu button though. This is awesome ! Does it work with the standard BT4.0 adapters or does ...

Re: Favorite wireless SNES controller to use?
Yeah, the pair button is on the IO board. Without that, you'd just need to enter the pairing menu from the main menu. But that now means you need to hassle with a second controller. I've been hoping this would get a fix during some random Linux update, but it doesn't seem like that's the case. I know f11 pulls up pairing but how do you get to it f...

Re: Favorite wireless SNES controller to use?
The official Nintendo Switch SNES online controller is pretty great. Only problem is that MiSTer sometimes loses pairing when powered off. Not a huge deal, as all I have to do to reconnect is hold down the pair button on the MiSTer and controller when I power on, and then it's good to go. what do you do if you just have de10 nano and no... io boar...
