Menu Off Center When Using Direct Video & Retrotink 4K

Unread post by MiSTer Consoles »

Hi all. I've been playing around with the direct video "DV1" mode on the RT4K to my LG CX TV and it seems to work perfectly on the cores I've tested. The strange thing is that the menu core originally pulls up centered, but then almost immediately gets pushed to the left side of the screen with some garbled video to the right of it. I thought perhaps my HDMI switch might have been to blame, but I plugged the MiSTer directly into the RT and I get the same thing. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

For anyone else who has this issue I ended up getting a solution from a user on Discord. You have to disable direct video on the menu by adding the blurb below to the .ini file. A nice and easy fix. :D

Code: Select all

[menu]
direct_video=0
